Meet Blakely Beitzel, PA-C

Blakely is a national board-certified Physician Assistant with 15 years of clinical experience, predominantly in psychiatry. Blakely attended Methodist University (then College) graduating with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude in 3 years; earning Bachelor of Science with a Concentration in Microbiology and Cell Biology. And an honors graduate from Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant Program; receiving Masters of Medical Science and Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduate school, Blakely took nearly 1 year off; during which time she got married and started a family. She started her PA career in rural Family Medicine for 3.5 years; developing a strong passion and foundation in psychiatry. In 2012, Blakely transitioned to general out-patient psychiatry and became the senior provider of a multi-location practice for nearly 8 years. In more recent years, she has been providing psychiatric services in the long-term care community setting, with heavy emphasis in geriatric psychiatry. Blakely is comfortable treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders in pediatric to geriatric populations. She is a compassionate provider with a central focus on patient rapport and advocacy, providing patient-centered, evidence-based, and outcome-driven treatments as well as a holistic approach. She is passionate about community education, advocacy within mental health, and advancements within the field of psychiatry. Blakely is excited to return to general out-patient psychiatry and hopes to serve as an integral member of your treatment team at MedPsych Integrated.
