Enid M. Tallmer, MSW, MHS, PA-C, is a compassionate and experienced Physician Assistant at MedPsych Integrated with a unique background spanning both behavioral health and primary care medicine. She earned her Master of Health Sciences from the prestigious Duke University Physician Assistant Program and her Master of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work.
With more than 20 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant and nearly two decades of prior experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Enid brings a deeply patient-centered and holistic approach to mental health care. Her background includes work in outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, urgent care, and primary care settings, allowing her to understand the complex connection between emotional and physical health.
Enid provides thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care with clinical interests that include women’s mental health, trauma-related conditions, anxiety, depression, and healthy aging. She is known for creating a warm, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their treatment journey.
As a fluent Spanish-speaking provider, Enid is passionate about improving access to culturally sensitive mental health care for diverse communities across North Carolina. She works closely with patients and families to ensure communication, trust, and individualized care remain at the center of treatment.
Outside of clinical practice, Enid enjoys travel, nature walks, and spending time with her three dogs.
