Dr. Catherine Jung is an Advance Psychiatric Medical Practitioner with a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and is also a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant who graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Gardner-Webb University.
She believes establishing and maintaining a good interpersonal relationship with patients is essential. She has experience treating psychiatric conditions including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, autism, ADHD, borderline personality disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and more. One of her specific interests involves treating patients with TMS and esketamine when indicated. In addition, her fond interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy led her to write her thesis on MDMA-assisted psychotherapy, and she hopes to publish it in peer review journal soon.
