Alicia attended UNC-Wilmington where she earned her undergraduate nursing degree and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021 and has been a board-certified mental nurse practitioner ever since.
Alicia has experience in acute inpatient mental health and the recent transition to the outpatient setting has allowed her to provide continuous care to patients. She has a passion for underrepresented patient population and is bilingual – English and Spanish. She has both Peruvian and Ecuadorian heritage. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys reading, spending time with her family and traveling. The loves of her life are Charlie, a miniature schnauzer, and Coco, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.
